Fire Safety
Oct. 16-18: Fire department comes and inspects all apartments in my complex for fire safety.
Dec. 16: I discover that my fire extinguisher is missing
Dec. 17: I ask at the office about my fire extinguisher. The answer is "Your fire extinguisher was expired so we removed it. Your replacement should arrive in a couple days."
Questions:
1. Does it really take more than two months to buy a fire extinguisher?
2. Is it really safer to have no fire extinguisher than to have an expired one?
I think this is more annoying than the "Your rent is overdue" notices they mistakenly send me just about each month.
Just one more reason I wish Archstone hadn't sold the complex.
